The youth of First Lutheran have many events throughout the year including: Junior High/Senior High Lock-In's, service projects, mission trips and other outings.

Ongoing Ministry Opportunities
First Lutheran offers many opportunities for students grades 6-12 to get involved. These opportunities allow youth to build a relationship with God, grow in faith, create lasting friendships, serve the Lord and of course HAVE FUN!
Every Sunday during School Year (except major holidays) from 9:30-10:30am
Come and join us during the School year where Junior High and High School Youth meet to discuss topics throughout the Bible and connect them to our lives today. Location 3rd floor.
Every Wednesday during School Year (except major holidays) from 7-8pm
Confirmation is a two year commitment for 7th and 8th graders to meet with our Senior Pastor to discuss Lutheran Theology including: Martin Luther, Creeds, Prayers, Old and New Testament and many more. This is a time for students to acknowledge their baptism through an Affirmation of Faith. During each class students read from the Bible, discuss a topic, put on a skit, quiz show and other connecting activities. Location Open Tomb.
EPIC Youth Group
Every Sunday (except major holidays or major youth events/trips) from 6:00-7:30 pm
EPIC stands for Every Person In Christ. EPIC is a weekly gathering of youth (grades 6-12) filled with Bible study, prayer, games, snacks, and fellowship. Youth engage in discussion while connecting Bible lessons to life today. Location Open Tomb.
Meeting the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the Month from 4-5:30pm
Generation 4:12 is a group for students who would like to get more involved with the church and the student ministry program. Students in Generation 4:12 are considered to be the Student Leaders. During these meetings youth will learn how to be a leader, focus on team-building, brainstorm together to build, develop, and seek additional ministry opportunities. Location Youth Director Office.
Every Thursday (except major holidays) from 4-6pm
Re-Fuel stands for Faith Used for Everyday Life. Each week students meet to get refueled and re-energized about their faith. Students come with questions about God and faith while we play some card games and enjoy additional fellowship. Location Panera Bread.
